Projection Cluster
Mitsubishi Precision
Recently, there’s been a lot of research on CAVE or Cave Automatic Virtual Environment. Displaying images of a virtual world which covers most of our visual ranges, enable a realistic experience as though we are actually there on the spot.
The Projection Cluster System developed by Mitsubishi Precision allows compositing of several projector images on a seamless big screen. A dome shaped multi projection system allows high-definition image output.
The feature of Projection cluster is that it automatically processes image distortion, brightness, and blending process of linked parts using a special camera for adjustment.
It requires no special lens for dimensional, dome or half-dome screens for viewing and allows both front and rear shooting depending on the screen type.
The dome shaped movie offers a more realistic image to the human eye compared with a rectangular monitor. People are likely to enjoy the strong enveloping impact of virtual reality which in the future will be widely used for TVs and games.
