Toyota / Dyna Hybrid
At Tokyo Truck Show 2009, Toyota Motor, Toyota Auto Body, and Denso, as members of the Toyota Group, jointly exhibited the Toyota Dyna Hybrid, a next-generation refrigerated truck with anti-idling design.
Power is supplied from the hybrid battery to a battery compressor with an anti-idling module, so there’s no need for a refrigerator battery. This reduces weight and eliminates the need to maintain a refrigerator battery.
Using this system together with an air return has further increased the temperature-holding performance. Sealing performance, which is essential to maintaining two temperatures, has also been improved substantially, and the freezer partition can be moved simply and easily.
The Toyota Group will use this next-generation refrigerated truck with anti-idling design as a basis for developing vehicles that meet the needs of the logistics industry.
