Nippon Kodo

Incense has been used for more than 4,000 years in religious ceremonies, and today people burn incense to create a relaxed home atmosphere.

Nippon Kodo manufactures fragrances that have an unique appeal for its Japanese customers using ingredients imported from overseas. The company offers a diverse array of incense types that includes a common stick type, incense for meditation, incense that exudes floral and herbal fragrances, a cone type that emits strong fragrances in a short period of time without scattering ash, coil type that burns over an extended period of time, and finally a powder-type.

Beginning in October, Nippon Kodo will launch sales of small pouches scented with a wide variety of natural fragrances with the price set at 800 yen. The pouches will feature seasonal fragrance motifs with the first being a cherry blossom floral fragrance. The pouches are ideal for scenting drawers, closets, and bags.

The company’s “Anming” body oil and roll-on fragrances include soft floral scents such as orange, lemon, basil, and geranium.

The body oil fragrances retail for 2,000 yen, while small, convenient roll-on fragrance dispensers retail for 1,200 yen.
