Nurse Call System Care Call 2000,
Excel Engineering
In traditional hospitals nurses are automatically summoned if a patients vitals drop or if a patient presses their ubiquitous call button.
Excel Engineering expands on these with their Nurse Call System Care Call 2000.
The system can handle calls from almost 10,000 patients and can be connected with other PLC (Power Line Communication) components to inform or warn the orderlies. This means cameras can be connected to the system to stream video and sensors can be added to the floor and bed to notify nurses if a patient tries to move in a way which may cause them harm.
"There's no need for prior construction since it uses your existing nurse calling system so installing it and maintaining it is easy. The system is easy and cost effective to set up."
As an optional feature patients can connect to the FOMA network and hence use their mobile phone to notify nurses.
