NICHIRYO manufactures specialty filters to the customer’s desired shape, size, and diameter specifications.
NICHIRYO’s proprietary plastic power sintering process makes it possible to manufacture three-dimensional filters. Because the filters are manufactured using molds, it is possible to produce filters of any shape with diameters that can range from several microns to hundreds of microns. It is also possible to produce the filters in commercial quantities while maintaining the same performance.
Since the filters are three-dimensional, they make ideal components for use in the assembly of machinery.
Actual applications of this type of filter include the following: all types of vent taps; channel filters to prevent clogging; all types of vacuum equipment silencers; and to increase the amount of dissolved gases in water and liquid solutions.
Fluid percolation applications include using the filters as a pre-filter material for various types of high-precision percolators; as a material to preserve the plastic columns used in chromatography; and the filters are also used in ink-jet printers, and as pipette chip internal filters.
