A versatile robot, PLEN built by Systec Akazawa can be controlled with your PC, mobile phone and now through the internet via Skype.
PLEN is 23cm meters tall, weighs 700g with the battery pack and has 18 joints and a gyro balance system to provide for a wide range of actions including skateboarding and roller-skating. It runs on a rechargeable NiMH battery pack which lasts for 25 minutes.
PLEN has over twenty preset motionsbut also comes with special software that runs on Windows XP so you can create your own motions.
