At "The University @ SEMICON" booth area, a special booth area set up for technical colleges at SEMICON Japan 2008, which was held at the Makuhari Messe convention center, the Kumamoto National College of Technology exhibited a new robot at the Fujikin Booth. According to the Kumamoto National College of Technology, the ultimate objective is to achieve smoother, more natural communications between humans and robots by using this system to enable robots to recognize who is talking to them.
