At Photo Imaging Expo 2009, Sony exhibited the Cyber-shot DSC-HX1, a digital camera that utilizes various new technologies unique to Sony.
To ensure top-quality photos, the Cyber-shot HX1 has the G Lens, which gained an excellent reputation in the Alpha series. It also has a CMOS sensor and the image processing engine BIONZ. The HX1 is also the first Cyber-shot to support Hi-Vision video shooting.
This camera also has a full range of features for taking great photos easily. These include Smile Shutter, which detects faces and recognizes smiles, as well as Full Auto and Cuisine Mode.
The Cyber-shot DSC HX1 is scheduled for release on April 24, 2009.
