Canon exhibited the new EOS Kiss X3 Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera, the newest product in the EOS Kiss series, at the 2009 Photo Imaging Expo.
The "EOS Kiss X3" is the latest model in the EOS Kiss Digital series, which has reached a total production volume of 10 million. It's an entry level, digital single lens reflex camera equipped with cutting-edge technology while also maintaining excellent cost performance.
The new X3 also features a large, multi-coated, 920,000-pixel high definition Type-3 LCD monitor as well as "Face Catch Technology" for automatic face tracking and focusing as part of the Live View Shooting function for use when shooting both still images and video. The camera is also packed full with other functions such as the "Quick Setting" screen and the "Creative Full Auto Mode" and provides an environment that enables the enjoyment of full-scale filming enjoyment with easy to use operations.
