At International Bio Expo 2009, Malcom exhibited an automatic nucleic acid extractor, the Mag Genex PNE-2080. This enables nucleic acids to be extracted from various samples using a single machine.
Malcom’s automatic nucleic acid extractor can do all the required processes automatically, from extracting DNA and RNA to analyzing them. This machine does not require preprocessing by centrifuge separation, or harmful organic solvents, and the reagents are dispensed into samples without the need for proteins and chaotropic salts. The system is very simple: All users need to do is insert prepacked reagents, select a protocol, and press the start button.
