At the 1st International Office Furniture Expo, AIM Design Institute presented the “1 mm Heater,” which will soon be released.
The “1 mm Heater” contains a carbon paper heating element just 0.1 mm thick. Compared with ordinary heaters, this product does not stir up dust by blowing out hot air. Also, its lightweight, slim design makes the stove easy to carry around, so it can be used to warm any part of the office or home. This product is also energy-efficient, providing an output of 80 W for just two yen per hour.
AIM Design Institute offers a range of products based on this technology, including mouse pads, as well as far-infrared heaters for fixed installation, wall-mounted heaters, and foot-warming heaters.
The “1 mm Heater” will be released at the end of September 2009.
