At Tokyo Truck Show 2009, Toyo Trailer presented a W coupling for its large trailer PTR4732C, which is exclusively for the Japanese market.
Toyo Trailer is a specialist manufacturer of large goods transporters. As a pioneer in the field, they offer customized trailers that meet users’ need to transport very heavy industrial machinery and very large structural components, while complying with Japan’s road traffic laws.
Because Japan has such a complex topography, trailer beds are designed to be low, with hydraulic jacks to adjust their height if necessary. Trailers also have an automatic steering capability using tire couplers.
The tires used in these trailers may be imported from Europe or made to order. From now on, Toyo Trailer will develop ultra-lightweight trailers by using aluminum frames.
