On November 20, Sharp released the AQUOS SHOT SoftBank 940SH, a high-performance mobile phone with a 12.1-megapixel CCD camera.
The new AQUOS SHOT takes high-resolution pictures using its 12.1-megapixel CCD camera and ProPix image processing engine. It also enables continuous shooting of 100 frames at 45 fps, with the best high-speed feature in the industry. The AQUOS SHOT also supports Mobile Wi-Fi.
The new AQUOS SHOT also has Individual Face Recognition, enabling it to automatically focus on the faces of pre-registered people. Other convenient features include Auto Album, which automatically classifies photos by the date or the people recognized in them.
The menu screen includes a new UI called the Spin Menu. By tracing round a device called a vector pad, it can show all sorts of icons in a spiral.
