At InterAqua 2010, Toray exhibited a Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element, ordered for use in the world’s largest desalination plant.
This membrane element has world-class boron removal capability, and combines low power consumption with high water treatment capacity.
This new technology from Toray uses unique nanotech. By controlling micro-fabrication with sub-nanometer precision regarding the pore diameter, Toray has succeeded in increasing boron removal efficiency while maintaining high water treatment capacity.
