At AOU 2010 Amusement Expo, Konami exhibited the 3D arcade game, Metal Gear Arcade.
The game combines a 3D display and 5.1ch sound with a gun and a controller mounted on the 3D glasses, giving players a powerful and immersive audiovisual experience in the world of Metal Gear.
Metal Gear Arcade makes use of a controller attached to the 3D glasses, making an intuitive addition to the regular control scheme, as Snake's viewpoint changes in line with the direction your head is facing.
The gun also features an analog stick so you can control the direction of movement independent of the direction you are looking or aiming.
Metal Gear fans will be able to enjoy battles and collaborative play between machines in the same arcade, as well as online with players nationwide.
