At Flat Panel Display International 2010, Newsight Japan exhibited the prototype NEWSIGHT JAPAN MV70-AD, a newly developed 70-inch, autostereo 3D LCD.
This 3D display utilizes the parallax barrier system, where different images are shown to the left and right eyes using a special filter in front of the display. This system achieves a wide viewing angle and smooth stereoscopic reproduction.
From now on, Newsight Japan will consider producing the display on a built-to-order basis, primarily for use as an advertising medium.
