At Wireless Japan 2010, CEREVO exhibited the CEREVO CAM live!, the world's first compact digital camera able to deliver video live via WiFi to Ustream.
"This is a digital camera with a built-in network device. You can deliver Ustream content using the camera itself. The Ustream service, which is provided by an American company, enables pictures to be sent live over the Internet."
A feature of the CEREVO CAM live! is that anyone can operate it, with no need for complicated settings. To deliver Ustream content, just select Ustream from the menu and press the start button.
The camera has a 9MP CMOS sensor and a 42-mm fixed-focus lens, and it can support up to 720P HD video. It also supports all current wireless LAN standards.
Ustream delivery can also be done by remote control. So you can use a cellphone to switch it on and off easily from a distance.
"You can upload the photos and videos you've taken to CEREVO LIFE, our cloud storage service. And from CEREVO LIFE, you can upload to YouTube and other sites."
The camera has a very simple design, and is operated using a D-pad and two buttons. It's available in two colors, matt black and matt white.
The CEREVO CAM live! is available from the CEREVO online store, for 19,999 yen.
