LED light that emits simulated parallel light, on a par with sunlight - Hololight

-
The Hololight, developed by Pi Photonics, is an LED light that can emit simulated parallel light, on a par with sunlight, from a compact cubic housing.

The Hololight has a large area, high brightness, and high directionality. It also generates little heat and is easy on the eyes. These qualities make the Hololight ideal for showing holograms.

"LEDs inherently have very high directionality. And we've made maximal use of this directionality, by developing very large, high-quality optical elements, which are like lenses. A feature of these products is that, for example, you can spotlight just one square meter fifty meters ahead."

The area and angle of illumination can be adjusted by moving the rear ball on the back of the Hololight. This light consumes little power, so it has a long battery life, and the body is made of lightweight aluminum. These features enable the Hololight to be used in a variety of spaces, for many purposes apart from showing holograms.
