Kuchofuku : Air Conditioned Seat Cushion "Suzukaze"

Kuchofuku Co., Ltd. is developing and marketing air conditioned clothing that uses almost no energy compared to conventional air conditioners and is targeting a society that wears air conditioned clothing that does not pollute the global environment. In line with this goal, the company has now developed the "Suzukaze" air conditioned seat cushion as its newest product.

Humans generate sweat to regulate body temperature, and the new air conditioned cushion uses this inherent body temperature regulation function and the minimal amount of energy necessary to power a fan in order to provide the ideal cooling level for humans.

When the small fan that is built into the cushion rotates, over 170 liters of air per minute is sent into the cushion and the heat and moisture accumulated around the buttocks is dissipated.

The cushion weighs only 261 grams, and because of this lightweight design it can be easily rolled up and carried around in compact form. Another attractive feature is that the cushion is very economical. In fact, even if the cushion is used every day for 8 hours a day, the monthly electricity fee is less than 5 yen.
